M&E Technical Manager / M&E Construction Manager
Location: Southern UK (with international travel)
Salary: Circa £90,000 + package

My client is an established engineering and construction management business that has been running for more than 20 years. They deliver engineering, construction and deployable infrastructure for defence, government and commercial clients around the world. Their reputation rests on working in some of the most demanding environments on the planet, where getting it right first time is essential.
The Role
They are looking for an experienced M&E Technical Manager / M&E Construction Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical side of a varied international project portfolio. You will be based in the UK and travel regularly to support projects in the Falklands, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Europe and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide M&E technical leadership across projects from design through to handover
* Oversee M&E installations on site to make sure work meets specification, quality and safety standards
* Review designs, technical submissions and specifications
* Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives
* Support project planning, programming and cost control for M&E packages
* Manage testing, commissioning and handover
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental and quality requirements
* Act as a key technical point of contact for clients, particularly in the defence sector
About You
* Strong background in M&E construction or technical management
* Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
* Proven experience delivering M&E packages on complex projects
* Confident working in remote, overseas or challenging environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Willing and able to travel internationally
* Defence, government or overseas project experience is highly desirable
