Revit MEP Coordinator
Our client, an established M&E Contractor with nearly 20 years of experience, specializes in the refurbishment, maintenance, and fit-out of M&E services for MOD, leisure, education, and healthcare sectors. They offer comprehensive services including design and build, project management, commissioning, and maintenance across the South Coast. They are now looking to expand their design team by adding a Revit MEP Coordinator.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing 3D Revit models for all stages of mechanical and plumbing design, installation, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on healthcare / education / defence projects and be proficient in Revit MEP and Navisworks. Experience with 2D CAD is required, and familiarity with the document management system Aconex is advantageous.
The successful candidate will be a flexible team player with strong communication skills, able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively. You will be expected to set up drawings for team use, review project files for standards compliance, produce and coordinate 3D models and working drawings, and ensure spatial limitations are met. Your responsibilities will also include producing sections and details for practical installations, creating as-built drawings from site surveys, and coordinating drawing production with project timelines. Quality control and accuracy are paramount, and you will liaise with the team leader to manage workload and drawing delivery, keeping the drawing directory up-to-date and documented.
