MEP Manager

Description:

Our client is a MEP Consultant who is looking for an experienced M&E Manager / Building services Manager / Technical services Manager - to join them on commercial projects across the North of the Country.

(Manchester - Blackburn - Huddersfield - Leeds - Newcastle - If you can travel to all sites great, if not then please still get in touch as I'd be keen to speak with you)

The majority of the companies work see's them running multiple projects, sometimes just for a few months or sometimes up to a year. This role will see you working directly with tier 1 clients and end users, so you will have a strong client presence as well as being happy to go to various projects as and when.

This is a great opportunity for a self employed contractor to join a growing consultancy firm and be part of some exciting projects. You will get to work with Tier 1 contractors, main clients and successful subcontractors within the industry.

Day rate would be £(Apply online only) pd CIS, PAYE or LTD.

General over view of responsbilites:

Pre Construction

* Undertake technical review of clients documentation and specifications

* Attend client site visits

* Attend client interviews

* Undertake financial analysis of sub contractor quotations

* Make M&E tender recommendations

* Place sub contract orders

* Produce procurement schedules and programmes

* Produce installation programmes

* Manage M&E design process

* Agree contract with sub contractors

* Produce installation RAMS

Construction

* Chair weekly M&E meetings

* Manage M&E procurement

* Comment of sub contractor financial variations

* Manage new power, gas, water and telecoms services to site

* Manage clients online document control systems – Conject; 4P

* Attend client progress meetings

* Monitor M&E progress on site

* Undertake M&E snagging

* Review subcontractor RAMS

Commissioning

* Manage the commissioning process

* Produce commissioning programmes

* Facilitate M&E client training

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £310.00-£350.00 per day

Schedule:

* Monday to Friday - Some site baed, some working from home.

Experience:

* Building Services Management / MEP Management:

* Commercial Projects - Project value in excess of £3m+

Licence/Certification:

* M&E Or Building Services Qualifications (required)

* SMSTS / SSSTS (required)

* Drivers Licence and access to own car (required)
