MEICA Commissioning Engineer – Water Industry
About the Role:
A leading water contractor is delivering major AMP 8 clean and wastewater projects across the region and is seeking a MEICA Commissioning Engineer to oversee on-site commissioning activities.
Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful integration, testing, and commissioning of assets into live water and wastewater systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate day-to-day on-site commissioning activities.
* Produce project reports and Commissioning Completion Reports.
* Ensure timely production of commissioning documentation and work with technical teams to support O&M manual delivery.
* Oversee off-site testing and pre-commissioning by suppliers and contractors.
* Ensure seamless integration of assets into existing works while mitigating risks to service levels.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a MEICA commissioning role, ideally within the water industry.
* Strong knowledge of MEICA and civil engineering interfaces.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
* CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified (or willing to obtain).
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
