About the Role:
An exceptional opportunity awaits to join the Healthcare Sales Team, contributing to the success of a high-performing and high-visibility business. As a Medical Account Manager, you will drive sales through account management and business development activities with established NHS customers. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and executing customer strategy programs, including pricing strategies and value-added proposals, to achieve portfolio revenue and profitability targets through customer retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships within the NHS Hospital Customer Base, understand their unique challenges, and showcase how the business’s clinical and engineering products and services can enhance their operations.
Tailored Engagement: Develop a comprehensive and targeted engagement strategy for each stakeholder group, ensuring a deep understanding of the clinical and engineering applications of gases.
Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial and Sales managers on pricing strategy and contract retention, balancing competitive pricing with communicating value to the customer.
Market Analysis: Analyse market trends and align strategies with customer needs to ensure customer retention and market growth.
Expert Knowledge: Provide in-depth knowledge on the delivery and application of medical gases, assist customers in understanding proper usage, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and offer educational resources and proactive support.
Engineering Solutions: Offer expertise in engineering solutions for liquid gases, effectively communicate customer requirements to the engineering team, and ensure the integration of solutions.
Technology Utilization: Proficiently use CRM systems like Salesforce to enhance efficiency, data management, and facilitate strategic decision-making.
Central Point of Contact: Act as the central point of contact for customers regarding commercial, sales, and service performance, aiming to achieve a positive image and differentiate from the competition.Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

Hospital Care Account Managers & Business Development Advisors

Quality & Regulatory Affairs (QRA) function

Enabling functions as appropriate (e.g., Procurement, SHEQ, Legal, Finance)
Medical equipment suppliers/manufacturers/distributorsPerson Specification:

Sales experience: Building relationships and selling a product/service within the medical industry.
Collaboration: Ability to successfully influence and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment to drive change and deliver against targets.
Healthcare Knowledge: Experience and knowledge of the healthcare market and products are beneficial.
Communication & Influencing Skills: Strong interaction skills, capable of understanding, influencing, and supporting others through technical knowledge or rational arguments.Core Competencies:
