A secondary school in Rainham is seeking a talented and passionate Media specialist to join their team. The role would suit an experienced Media Teacher or a Lead Practitioner looking to take on additional responsibility and contribute to the development of teaching and learning.
The Role
Media Teacher / Lead Practitioner
Full-time position
Based in Rainham
Immediate or upcoming start
Teaching Media across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging and creative Media lessons
Supporting students to achieve their full potential
Monitoring progress and using assessment effectively
Contributing to the development of the Media curriculum
Lead Practitioner responsibilities available for the right candidate
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in Media
Experience teaching Media at secondary level
Excellent classroom management skills
Passionate about engaging and inspiring students
Able to plan and deliver high-quality lessons
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience mentoring colleagues or leading on teaching and learning would be advantageous for the Lead Practitioner element
