Salary: £175-£255 (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
Job Type: Part Time (with potential for full time)
Start Date: New Term Start

We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and inspiring Teacher of Media Studies in Lincoln to join our successful team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students to explore, analyse, and create media in an ever-evolving digital world.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' understanding of media language, representation, audiences, industries, and digital production, while fostering creativity and independent thinking.

Job Role:

As a Teacher of Media Studies, you will:

Deliver high-quality Media Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 and, where applicable, Key Stage 5.
Inspire students through a creative and engaging curriculum that reflects contemporary media and industry developments.
Support students in developing analytical, practical, and production skills.
Assess, monitor, and provide effective feedback to maximise student achievement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and share best practice.
Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as film clubs, media projects, competitions, or creative events.We're Looking for Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards achieving it.
Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Media Studies.
Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and effective behaviour management.
Is committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
