Responsibilities

This role will work side-by-side and under the direct supervision of the Senior Mechatronic Engineer to assist in all aspects of the design, development and evaluation of PCBs and embedded firmware.

Here is a list of some of the most relevant areas of work:

● Design subcomponents of the core firmware

● Assist in the design and development PCBs

● Perform hardware and firmware testing for QA and debugging

● Provide support in the relationship with third-party vendors

● Collaborate with production engineers and technicians in all aspects of electronics and firmware integration

● Recondition faulty PCBs

● Provide assistance with relevant certifications (CE, UL, FCC, etc)

● Maintain clear documentation of processes and designs

Requirements:

● An engineering degree in electronics, robotics, or mechatronics.

● Advanced firmware development experience

● Knowledge of C/C++, Python

● Experience with PCB design

● Experience with Arudino or similar prototyping environments

● Great team player, we don't believe anyone can do it alone.

● Flexibility to work in a startup environment and wear many hats.

● Ability to be self guided and self driven.

● Experience in a previous project as a coordinator or manager.

● Great communication skills.
