Your new company
The successful candidate will be a part of the implementation team, who are responsible for the manufacturing and installing mushroom harvesting equipment throughout the world while also being responsible for any on-site troubleshooting and maintenance requirements. Your new company is a family run business and an exciting company to work for with R&D at its forefront. Due to an ever-growing order book, we are looking to create this new role.The successful candidate will be responsible for any on-site (or remote) troubleshooting and maintenance while also assisting with the manufacture and installation of Technology mushroom harvesting systems in our offices in County Armagh and on customer sites. The role also included working with the design team on R&D projects to improve our current product range and bring new products to market.
This is an exciting post where the candidate will be required to travel internationally depending on the project.

Your new role

On-site mechanical and electrical / electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving
On-site assistance during the commissioning of systems on customer sites
Post implementation customer support and troubleshooting.
Assist with manufacturing of our harvesting systems at our company premises
Assist with building of control panels and wiring of machines when required
Utilising Schneider control systems and PLCs
Ensure effective communication is maintained with clients, suppliers and the team
Read detailed electrical and engineering drawings
Demonstrate engineering expertise, and ability to improve products or services by applying professional knowledge
Participate in research and development projects, may it be in the office or hands-on.
Liaise with the Design team in R&D to refine and improve our product rangeWhat you'll need to succeed

Read detailed electrical and engineering drawings
Ability to complete mechanical and electronic / electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to build, commission and advance development of our current product range
Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise changing situations
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
Complete on-site installation and commissioning of systems
Maintain technical specifications
Demonstrate engineering expertise, and ability to improve products or services by applying professional knowledge
Work on my own initiative and as part of a team
Precision engineering experience
Willingness to travel
Overtime as required to meet project deadlines
An awareness of general Health and Safety rulesDesirable skills and requirements

Previous experience programming Schneider PLCs
A proven history of electrical and electronic troubleshooting
Welding and Fabrication experience (stainless, TIG, MIG, Manual Arc etc)
Use of 3D and 2D software including Solidworks and AutocadWhat you'll get in return
