Mechanical Technician - Training To Production Planner
£32,000 - £37,000 Per Annum + Hybrid working + Flexi time + Life assurance
Monday - Friday, 36 hour week
Manchester, near Failsworth

Do you have Mechanical Engineering or Machine Shop experience and want to gain excellent training to move off the tools? Would you like a Production Planner role within a reputable employer working on state-of-the-art projects in the aerospace industry? Due to continued growth and the securing of major contracts, my client is looking to recruit a production planner to join their highly skilled team at their state of the art facility in Manchester. This is a brand new, exciting position where you will play a fundamental role in a company that services some of the most impressive engineering companies in the UK and worldwide. This will be a varied role working on exciting projects and bespoke equipment / machinery. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience so they can accurately plan and coordinate the timescales and materials for these projects. You will need to be able to read engineering drawings and understand engineering processes and timeframes, full training will be provided enabling you to understand company products & processes and become a valuable member of the business.

*Working on an exciting mixture of civil and military projects for defence / aviation customers

*Comes from a hands on background in manufacturing or mechanical engineering
*Commutable to Failsworth
