Mechanical Technician

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join a leading electrical company based in Easton on the Hill, North Northamptonshire. This position is a temporary contract with a competitive hourly rate starting from £13.71. If you have a passion for mechanical maintenance and want to work in a dynamic team, then this role is perfect for you!

What you'll be doing:

Carrying out mechanical maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment.
Conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs as necessary.
Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting any issues to the team leader.
Adhering to health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role in the electrical industry.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Flexibility to work full-time hours as required.
