Are you seeking a challenging entry-level opportunity with a leading company in the Aerospace and defence sector? We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to join the Operations team of Our client who is a renowned Aerospace company at the forefront of space exploration and travel.
Daily tasks will include assembly and final assembly processes of aluminium composite panel manufacture.
Responsibilities:
Able to insert panels with the correct type of mechanical fasteners.
Bonding of various brackets, equipment and inserts, using various adhesives
Bonding components and sub-assemblies using adhesives to drawing specifications
Ability to read and understand Detailed engineering drawings and procedures.
Laminating and Tooling
Working with Aluminium skin and Honeycomb core
Film adhesive bonding
Oven curing
Use of Industrial machinery
Using 3D viewing Software and 3D assembly Models
Essential:
Previous experience in a Manual Handling Role
Manual Dexterity
Previous experience within a production/manufacturing environment with regular use of hand tools
Ability to follow procedures and work instructions/manuals.
Relevant experience in carbon fibre
Desirable:
Clean room environment experience
Previous experience of laminating Aluminium
Space/Aerospace/Automotive/Motorsport experience
