TEXO Recruitment are sourcing for an experienced Mechanical Technician (onshore) to join our external client, a specialist in the supply of bespoke equipment and personnel packages to the global energy sector.
Based in Aberdeen, the suitable candidate will be required to commute to both our clients sites based in central Aberdeen and Peterhead (travel provided).
Responsibilities:
The primary role of the onshore Mechanical Technician, within the Engineering Solutions Business Unit is to assist in the build of new equipment and the repair, maintenance, and modifications of existing equipment.
Qualifications:
• HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering qualification / Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Able to demonstrate competence in reading and understanding Mechanical Assembly and Hydraulic drawings
• Great verbal and written communication
• Computer literate
• Able to identify and use technical tools and instruments
• Able to fact find, fault identify, and problem solve
• UK driving licence
