Description:
Conrad Consulting are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a well-established building services contractor delivering a range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector projects throughout the Central Belt.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a background in mechanical installation to take ownership of site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Supervisor:
Supervise mechanical installation teams on site.
Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors.
Monitor progress against programme and project milestones.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
Liaise with project managers, clients, and other trades.
Manage site documentation, permits, and reporting requirements.
Identify and resolve site issues efficiently to maintain project delivery.
Requirements of the Mechanical Supervisor:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within the Building Services sector.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and mechanical installations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Valid CSCS card.
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred.
Full UK driving licence.
