We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Manager to join a major £5 million decarbonisation project within the healthcare sector in Medway, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Mechanical Supervisor or Site Manager to play a key role in the delivery of a large and technically challenging project, working alongside another Mechanical Supervisor and the wider project management team.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day mechanical works on site, coordinating subcontractors and mechanical trades, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Working alongside another Mechanical Supervisor, you will help manage the mechanical package from installation through to completion, ensuring the programme remains on track.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical works on site.
• Manage mechanical subcontractors, engineers and site operatives.
• Coordinate mechanical activities with other trades and the wider construction team.
• Monitor progress and ensure works remain in line with the project programme.
• Review drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• Ensure mechanical installations are completed to the required quality standards.
• Maintain a strong focus on health & safety and site compliance.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Identify and resolve issues before they impact the programme.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and coordination of mechanical works.
• Ensure testing, commissioning and relevant documentation are completed.
• Support the successful delivery and handover of the project in December / January.
