An award-winning principal contractor that focused on delivering complex industrial projects in Europe are currently seeking an ambitious and driven Mechanical Site Supervisor that is keen to progress through the ranks and further their career in a company known for their career progression opportunities.
You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises. This client has a project pipeline full for several years to come, making this a fantastic opportunity for anyone to join a company who asserting themselves as the market leader.
The data centre sector is the fastest growing sector in construction at present, there is no better time to be getting into the sector. This coupled with the increased emphasis that this client has put on their data centre division, makes an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Supervisor to fast track their career to project management level.
Mechanical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
* Management of Site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Package Manager including set up, management and close out of file.
* Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements
* Assist with the management of all costs associated with your package including: Subcontractors
* Material deliveries and goods receipting.
* Plant and Equipment
* Variations
* Valuations
* Management of all day to day on site operations
* Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minute meeting with sub-contractor.
* and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.
* Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
* Close out of all project items including O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, – all with the support of the Mechanical package manager.
