Description:
We are looking for an Mechanical Supervisor to work on a commercial project near Farringdon with a project value of £5m.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage the mechanical installation work on site.
* Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required standard.
* Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure that the mechanical works are integrated with other trades on site.
* Monitor and review the performance of the mechanical installation team and provide feedback and coaching where necessary.
* Ensure that all equipment and materials are ordered and delivered to site on time and in accordance with the project schedule.
* Carry out all works in compliance with statutory regulations, current industry standards, company quality and health and safety assurance procedures, including ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Quality, Environmental and OH&S procedures.
* Directly manage the externally contracted and directly employed resources
* Drive the labour workforce on site to achieve the programme
* Ensure Health & Safety regulations are observed throughout.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the building services industry.
* Health & Safety Qualification - SSSTS OR SMSTS
* Relevant mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Experience working on large-scale mechanical projects.
Rate:
* £250 - £280 Per Shift
