Description:
Coyle Personnel are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a major pipeline job in Shetland.
Flights & Accommodation provided by the Client.
Applicants must have a Mechanical Engineering qualification and a valid CSCS card.
Duties:
* Plan, coordinate and supervise pipeline construction activities, including the installation, testing and Inspection of the pipelines as well as the mechanical equipment related to the works.
* Lead the work permit application process and ensure all necessary attachments are prepared according to project HSE procedures.
* Possess strong knowledge of reading and interpreting mechanical, civil and structural drawings.
* Demonstrate hands-on experience in all types of welding, including joint set-up, preheating, amps, volts, travel speed, welding consumables, inter-run cleaning, run placement and visual Inspection.
Work rota: 3 weeks on 1 week off (minimum)
Competitive Day Rate available to the suitable candidate
