Mechanical Supervisor – Woking | Data Centre | Freelance
One of London’s leading MEP contractors is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a major data centre scheme in Woking.
The contractor is a well-established MEP business with a turnover of approximately £50 million and a workforce of around 300 staff. They have a strong track record of delivering major MEP projects and have worked with this well-established client for several years.
The Role
The successful Mechanical Supervisor will report directly into the Mechanical Project Manager, taking responsibility for supervising mechanical works on site and managing the direct labour team underneath them.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a major data centre project with long-term work available within the rapidly expanding data centre market.
Key Responsibilities

Supervising mechanical installation works on site

Reporting directly to the Mechanical Project Manager

Managing and coordinating direct labour
*
Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
*
Coordinating mechanical activities with the wider project team
*
Monitoring quality and installation standards
*
Supporting the Mechanical Project Manager with day-to-day project delivery
*
Coordinating labour, materials and resources
*
Working closely with subcontractors and other trades where required
