My client is a leading M&E Management Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Site Manager to complete a 18 month contract, to Manager there commercial project.
My client are a Mechanical and Electrical contractor, that deliver Full M&E projects including;
HVAC systems, Air conditioning systems, Heating including Ground Source Heat Pumps and biomass boilers, Domestic hot and cold water, Solar energy, Above ground drainage, Sprinkler systems, Medical gases, Rainwater systems, Combined Heat and Power, Grey water harvesting and Electrical services
Mechanical Site Manager Responsibilities:
* Reporting to and working with the Project Manager.
* Supervising of all Mechanical works undertaken
* Managing mechanical sub-contractors.
* Progress Meeting's.
* Manage and update programme in place.
* Assess the quality of work that the client’s Labour and its sub-contractors are delivering.
* To assist the quality manager with all QA sign offs.
* Dealing with any technical issues that may arise.
* Making sure that safe working practices are always maintained.
* Attending everyday meetings with the management and other trades.
* Delivering toolbox talks.
* Arranging inductions.
* To manage the productivity and push the project towards the completion date.
Mechanical Site Manager Requirements:
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* Previous experience industrial and commercial building service.
* Mechanical trade or Engineering qualification.
* 10 years’ experience working for Mechanical Contractors
* Experience in commercial projects.
