Mechanical Shift Leader - £49,000-£52,000 - Mayfair
I am currently looking to speak to Mechanical Shift Leader for a corporate office building based in Mayfair. The need is for a Mechanical Shift Leader to come and run a 3 man shift team, and continue to provide an efficient service of the maintenance and building services within a corporate environment.
This site is globally recognised and is one where all engineers will learn and develop their career and skill set. On offer will be specific internal and external training opportunities.
As an Mechanical Shift Leader you will be required to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days only, 7am-7pm.
Day to Day Duties;
Working 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days only, 7am-7pm. Part of a 3 man team.
* PPMs, Reactives, UPS and AHU, FCU, Pumps, motors and general plumbing maintenance
* Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner
* Be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve
* Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported escalated as required.
* Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues
* Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client
* Remain flexible with regards to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
* Be fully aware of relevant Health & Safety and general legislative matters
Qualifications/Requirements
* Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing with certificates.
* Maintenance skills
* Experience with PPM’s on commercial systems
* Steady and progressive work history
* Experienced in work on large scale building services applications
reactive repairs that arise on a daily basis. All applicants must come form a strong maintenance background and have the ability to deal with a fast paced corporate environment.
Core qualifications are key in this role the minimum requirement is City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Previous Shift & Critical experience is required
