Mechanical Service Technician (Onshore) – Aberdeen
Dyce, Aberdeen
KBM Resourcing are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician (Onshore) to join a busy operations and workshop team in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance, servicing, repair and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery within the workshop and on client sites when required.
* Perform diagnostics, fault finding and basic root cause analysis.
* Complete pre-hire inspections and accurately record test results and maintenance documentation.
* Support planned and reactive maintenance activities, including component replacement and refurbishment.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company HSSEQ procedures.
Requirements
* Recognised mechanical trade qualification (e.g. SVQ Level 3 Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering) or equivalent hands-on experience.
* Previous workshop and mechanical maintenance experience.
* Experience working with equipment such as compressors, steam generators, power generators, diesel engines and well test packages is desirable.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and adaptable approach to work.
* Previous client site experience is advantageous.
