Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Project/Package Manager to take ownership of the mechanical services workstream on a major construction development. This position requires strong technical expertise and proven capability in managing mechanical systems from design through to commissioning. If you excel in delivering complex mechanical packages while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance, this is a great opportunity to take charge of a critical project element.

Responsibilities
Manage all phases of the mechanical services delivery cycle, from planning and procurement to installation and commissioning
Coordinate with design teams to ensure accurate technical information is received on time for site activities
Monitor progress against programme milestones and maintain detailed reporting
Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and health and safety regulations
Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning processes to guarantee system integrity
Liaise with subcontractors and other project stakeholders to maintain smooth workflow and resolve technical queries promptly
Ensure mechanical deliverables are fully aligned with project requirements and client expectationsMust-have Requirements
Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent trade background
Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Package Manager within construction or building services
Proven ability to deliver complex mechanical works on large-scale residential or commercial projects
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
