Salary: £75,000–£80,000 per annum
Working Arrangement: Site-based
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a busy commercial fit-out environment, delivering high-quality mechanical building services projects.
This role would suit a driven, commercially aware professional who can take ownership of mechanical packages, lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage mechanical building services packages from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
Oversee site-based mechanical installations, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor project programmes, budgets, procurement, and resources.
Ensure all works meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Identify and resolve technical issues, programme delays, and potential project risks.
Manage variations, project costs, and subcontractor performance.
Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within commercial fit-out or building services.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical installations and HVAC systems.
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site-based activities.
Good understanding of project programmes, budgets, procurement, and commercial management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, quality, and health and safety.
