Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Croydon / London Projects
Salary: £85,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance
The Role:
*
Take full responsibility for the mechanical element of projects from contract award through to completion and final account.
*
Manage projects predominantly across London, while being based from the Croydon office.
*
Manage project costs, P&L reporting, interim valuations and variations.
*
Vet quotations and place orders with suppliers and subcontractors.
*
Manage mechanical subcontractors, direct labour, site teams and project resources.
*
Produce and manage mechanical programmes, monitoring progress and mitigating potential delays.
*
Oversee mechanical design, design risk and CDP responsibilities, working closely with the Design Manager and external consultants.
*
Coordinate mechanical installations with electrical and other building services.
*
Chair project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
*
Take responsibility for site Health & Safety and manage project documentation including RAMS, RFIs and technical submissions.
*
Work independently to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and within agreed deadlines.

The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a mechanically biased Project Manager within Building Services.
*
HNC/HND or equivalent engineering qualification.
