The Company
A well-established Building Services contractor is expanding and looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Cannock. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work across high-value Schools, University, and Healthcare projects in the Midlands.
The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery from pre-contract through to final account, managing multiple projects valued up to £5 million. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing full Mechanical Package
* Attending client and internal meetings across all project stages – pre-contract, progress, commissioning, and post-contract
* Managing multiple live projects simultaneously, up to £5M in value
* Assisting with design and leading the procurement process
* Supporting surveying activities and overseeing installation and commissioning
* Managing Health & Safety compliance across sites
* Overseeing site engineering staff, supervisors, and subcontractors
* Reviewing and interpreting Main and Sub-Contract documentation
* Assisting with finalising project accounts
About You
* Proven background in the Construction industry as a Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contract Manager, Mechanical Project Engineer, or Mechanical Contract Engineer
* ONC/HNC/HND qualification in Building Services (desirable)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Solid understanding of contract documentation and commercial processes
