Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a hands-on Mechanical/HVAC Supervisor to join a well-established on-site maintenance team, overseeing a diverse commercial estate.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership role with a reputable employer, managing a small team while remaining technically involved in the day-to-day maintenance of the site.
The Role As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of four engineers, ensuring the smooth delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across six commercial buildings, predominantly office space with some retail units and external lighting.
You'll supervise the team, support the delivery of high-quality maintenance services, and ensure compliance with health and safety and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising a team of 4 engineers (3 Multi-Skilled Engineers and 1 Apprentice).
Leading planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
Providing technical support with a strong mechanical/HVAC focus.
Coordinating maintenance across six commercial buildings.
Assisting with building services, including mechanical plant, HVAC systems, plumbing and some external lighting.
Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Supporting the development of the apprentice and wider engineering team.Requirements
Previous experience within a Maintenance Supervisory role.
Strong mechanical/HVAC background.
Experience working within commercial building maintenance.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to remain hands-on while managing daily operations.What's on Offer?
£50,000 - £55,000 basic salary.
Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am - 5:00pm).
1 in 4 call-out rota.
Company van provided whilst on call.
