Location: Berkshire
A leading UK manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its highly automated production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to work within a modern manufacturing environment with long-term career prospects.
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement activities across a range of production machinery and automated equipment.
The Role
Carry out mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs.
Complete PPMs on conveyors, mixers, kilns, hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery.
Undertake welding, fabrication and mechanical fitting work.
Support reliability, continuous improvement and plant performance projects.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.Requirements
NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Fitter or Mechanical Technician.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
Manufacturing, FMCG, industrial or heavy engineering background.
Able to work Panama shifts.Benefits
