Mechanical / HVAC Maintenance Engineer – London – £48,000 + Overtime
Salary: Up to £48,000 + overtime
Location: Central & Greater London
Hours: 40 hours per week

The Role
An established technical services provider is looking for an experienced Mobile Mechanical / HVAC Maintenance Engineer to maintain high-profile commercial buildings across Central and Greater London.

Key Responsibilities
*
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
*
Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, HIUs and MVHR systems.
*
Plant inspections, site walk-rounds and maintenance reporting.
*
Temperature checks, compliance inspections and filter cleaning/replacement.
*
Maintenance and repair of pumps, belts, compressors, valves and associated equipment.
*
Plumbing repairs, including taps, toilets and sanitary ware.
Requirements
*
Experience in commercial building services maintenance.
*
Mechanical, HVAC or plumbing maintenance background.
*
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing.
*
Good understanding of mechanical plant and PPM procedures.
*
Basic electrical knowledge; 18th Edition is advantageous.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Professional, presentable and confident communicating with clients.
*
Willingness to participate in a 1-in-8 call-out rota, with standby and call-out payments.
Salary & Benefits

Salary up to £48,000, based on a 40-hour week.

Paid overtime at time-and-a-half and double time.
