Description:

The principal purpose of the role is to operate and maintain mechanical plant and equipment within Our Clients energy centres and network customers’ premises.
The O&M Engineer is required to be able to service, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of mechanical plant with particular emphasis on internal combustion engines, generators, and CHP units.
Working to a high technical standard in compliance with statutory requirements and with regard to health and safety, the role is responsible for ensuring a high level of availability of plant and equipment, maintaining uninterrupted supply of energy to customers and keeping customer requirements at the forefront of the operational processes.
The role is part of an engineering team based in Woking with overall responsibility for operating and maintaining ThameWey’s energy assets through close monitoring of performance and status, early diagnosis of faults and working to PPM lists to maximise operating efficiency, availability, and asset life
