Description:
We're recruiting for a Mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing/processing plant based close to Newton on Trent. This role is a fast paced role working in state of the art facility. The Person:
* NVQ level 3 trained (Apprenticeship).
* Experienced in a manufacturing / processing environment.
* Motivated / Effective communicator / Problem solver.
The Role:
* Carrying out planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Ensuring compliance with OEM standards, legislation, and best practices.
* Supporting large-scale maintenance during outage periods.
* Managing and maintaining critical spares and consumables.
* Updating and developing maintenance procedures and documentation.
* Using the CMMS system to log, review, and improve maintenance tasks.
* Promoting and enforcing a strong health & safety culture.
* Supervising contractors and supporting risk assessments and safe systems of work.
* Contributing to accident and near-miss investigations.
* Driving continuous improvement and plant efficiency initiatives.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams on improvement projects.
* Staying up to date with industry developments and technology.
This role is working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (Days 8-4) with an on call rota 1 in 4. Contact Shaun Treacy at Questech Recruitment for more information
