Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

Due to year on year growth and plant expansion, a highly successful and reputable consumer goods producer in Kendal is seeking a mechanical maintenance engineering professional to join their established maintenance team on days.
As a mechanical maintenance technician, your role is to assist in maintaining a safe and efficient environment within the company workshops and production units; ensuring all machinery and equipment are running to enable the business to meet its customer requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
* Carry out day-day maintenance tasks and site repairs to assist operations in achieving maximum productivity and performance.
* Working on various production lines to maintain basic conditions of the machinery and perform improvement activities, as well as repairing breakdowns.
* Carry out mechanical fault finding and maintenance daily.
* Project work – machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement work.
* Driving a safe culture and eliminate safety risks.
The Person:
* Must have a mechanical engineering background and be fully qualified
* Consumer goods/ Industrial/ Manufacturing experience is essential
* Strong Fault finding & diagnostic skills
