Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Kidderminster
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £43,000 + shift allowance

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team in Kidderminster.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment, including die-casting machines, furnaces, robots and presses, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.

Key Requirements:

* Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer.

* Strong mechanical and hydraulic experience.

* Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.

* Experience within a heavy manufacturing or die-casting environment is highly desirable.

* Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.

* Forklift and crane licences would be beneficial.
