Location: Birmingham
Employment Type: Limited Company (LTD) role, outside of IR35
Rate: £33p/h
Contract Duration: 3 months rolling

Second largest manufacturer in the UK in their sector holding a third of the market. The company has a huge turnover nationally in excess of £300 million with 17 sites across the UK. Following the success of previous contracts a new opportunity is available. The business is now looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support the permanent maintenance team and to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum whilst maintaining the productivity of a variety of equipment. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following:
You will be part of a maintenance team which will be tasked to keep production up and running.
You will be involved with reactive maintenance and 10 percent will be getting involved in some projects and helping to establish and completing a PPM schedule.
You will be working on overhead cranes, Robotics, Mixing and Curing Machinery, Conveyor systems, Kilns etc.
The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.
Experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Mechanical engineering qualification
Previous experience in Industrial maintenance Engineering is required (FMCG, Logistics, Manufacturing, etc)
Able to fault find and repair a wide range of Mechanical Machinery involving Gearboxes, silos, chains, bucket elevators and conveyors.
Must be able to pass and drugs and alcohol test
