About the Role:
As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of machined components and associated parts. You will collaborate within the supply chain to promote best practices and continuously enhance the approach to Quality Assurance. Your contributions will help maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Inspector:
Ensure the quality of both internally and externally manufactured metallic components meets the required standards.
Actively participate in meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback.
Maintain a professional demeanor, adhere to the company's reporting structure, and uphold the highest standards of work.
Continuously develop your skills to industry standards and stay updated with machine manufacturing processes and inspection techniques.
Skills and Knowledge, we’re looking for:
Excellent understanding of machining processes.
Thorough knowledge of PcDmis and Polyworks Metrology Suites.
Proficient in using Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Absolute arms, Shadowgraphs, Contour Tracers, and handheld measuring equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, D365, or similar.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Previous experience in a high-level Motorsport environment is advantageous.
Ability to work calmly and confidently under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
Flexible attitude towards working hours and the ability to work as part of a team in a demanding, fast-changing environment.
Working Hours:
Night Shift: Monday – Thursday: 17:00pm – 03:30am
