Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Certify products in accordance with established certification procedures.
Examine assemblies and finishes to detect faults, damage, or deterioration.
Conduct intermediate inspections and monitor product certification operators.
Complete and verify all manufacturing data pack paperwork.
Segregate defective items and maintain detailed defect reports.
Produce quality control documentation and history sheets.
Utilise and maintain specialised inspection tools.
Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
Ensure compliance with all manufacturing process procedures.
Meet inspection deadlines while upholding superior workmanship standards.
Contribute to process improvements and maintain a safe, tidy work environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC).
Several years of skilled experience in a related field.
IPC 610 certification/training is preferred.
