Description:
Carbon60 require 3 Mechanical Fitters to start on-site at Fawley on a 9 month contract. Must hold a valid CCNSG and trade papers. You will be required to carry out a Drug & Alcohol test prior to starting. You must also hold a valid DBS or be willing to apply. Cost will be reimbursed when you start.
In this Mechanical Fitter role you will:
* Carry out general installation and fitting duties such as dismantling and re-assembly of a range of mechanical equipment.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and written/verbal instruction.
* Competently and accurately use measuring equipment to assess against drawings and ensure high tolerances are maintained
To succeed in this Mechanical Fitter role, you will need:
* A recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship
* Experience in assembly of complex machinery
* The Ability to read and interpret drawings
* A numerate, methodical approach
* Strong team player and positive customer skills.
