Fitter
Location: Teal Park Road, Lincoln, LN6 3AD
Shifts: 6am - 2.15pm and 2.15pm - 10.15pm rotating weekly, Monday to Friday
Duration: 3 months initial contract with a view to being extended
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £17.67 per hour upto £20.67 including shift allowance upto (111.5% for earlies, 117% for lates). Overtime also available at higher rates.
Qualifications: Apprentice-trained or equivalent to Mechanical NVQ level 3.

How You'll Make an Impact
Precision Work: Utilize tooling and measuring equipment, working from engineering drawings and layouts to achieve high tolerance levels. Ensure all components are salvaged or built and tested to the highest standards.
Heavy Lifting: Operate lifting equipment and fixtures safely and efficiently, completing all associated paperwork to maintain component lifing limits.
Effective Communication: Clearly discuss issues with supporting departments and ensure smooth handovers to colleagues.
5S Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality and Compliance: Uphold high standards in both your fitting work and documentation. Adhere to legal and company safety regulations, promoting a healthy work environment.
Flexibility: Adapt to rotating shift patterns and be open to overtime to meet business and customer demands.
What You Bring
Experience: Proven experience as a fitter.
Qualifications: Apprentice-trained or equivalent to Mechanical NVQ level 3.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of dismantling and overhauling components is desirable.
Attention to Detail: Ensure components are in the best condition possible for repair work.
