Mechanical Fitter
£32,022 | 37‑Hour Week | Flexible Working
Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter who enjoys hands‑on build work and takes pride in producing high‑quality engineering?

The Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be assembling and fitting mechanical components into larger, high‑value assemblies. Working from detailed engineering drawings, you’ll build, strip, inspect, adjust, and rebuild parts to exacting quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and sub‑assemblies
Stripping down, inspection, fault‑finding, and rebuilding parts
Reading and interpreting mechanical/engineering drawings
Carrying out mechanical repairs, adjustments, and refinements
Fitting smaller precision components into larger assemblies
Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Assembly role
Confident reading and working from mechanical drawings
Strong hand‑tool skills
High level of attention to detail and quality
Proactive, team‑focused approach to work

Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:00
