Major Recruitment are searching for a Mechanical Fitter for our client based in Sunderland. This vacancy is full-time and permanent for the right candidate.
Duties include:
Use of hand tools to maintain and repair equipment and machinery
Reading of mechanical drawings
Working to deadlines
Working as part of a team and alone to meet company targetsHours of work and pay rate:
Monday to Thursday
07:00am till 17:00pm
Some night shift work may be required
38 hours per week
Overtime available during the week and weekends as and when the business needs
£17.06 per hourSuccessful candidates must have the following:
Minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Fitting/ Mechanical Manufacturing
Experience working with hydraulics
Comfortable working from heights and in all weathers
