Description:
Mechanical Fitter required for my client based in Knowsley who are a electro-mechanical service provider, in the repair and maintenance industry for pumps, motors, alternators, fans and gearboxes.
Due to the companies on-going success, they are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their well-established and respected engineering organisation.
Mechanical Fitters from an automotive industry background, would be well suited to this position.
Mechanical Fitter Position Overview
Use of all standard workshop machinery
Accurate recording of information and observations on internal job cards
Dismantling and re-assembling of rotating machinery and equipment
Ensuring tools and equipment are correctly stored and maintained.
Reporting to your Team Leader and working closely with the production team.
Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements
Good understanding of the Electro-Mechanical Industry.
Time served or have at least five years commercial industrial experience.
Must have experience of rotating equipment, specifically pumps.
Experience of dynamic balancing is desirable.
Knowledge of testing rotating equipment, both electrically and mechanically is desirable.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Based within a commutable distance of Knowsley.
Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration
Salary - £17.05phr - on a 37.5hour / 40hour working week.
Monday to Friday full time position.
Bonus scheme in place worth up to 10% of basic salary.
23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Company pension scheme - 5% Employee, 3% Employer.
