Platform Resourcing are currently working in partnership with an Engineering Contractor based in Swansea.
They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join their dynamic team, serving multiple
customers across the West Wales area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, with a
varied workload and range of mechanical tasks.

Mechanical Fitter Salary and Benefits

Up to £35,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
Elective overtime, evenings paid time and a 1/2 and weekend rates of double time

Perform mechanical fitting tasks at various customer sites, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and components.
Install, service, and repair hydraulic systems, utilising your hydraulic fitting experience.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Provide emergency breakdown support and call-out services as required.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff members.
Drive to different locations across West Wales, ensuring timely arrival at customer sites.Mechanical Experience and Qualifications

Qualified in a necessary engineering discipline
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Experience with hydraulic fitting is highly desirable.
Valid driver & license and willingness to travel across the West Wales area.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
