Mechanical Fitters & Assemblers – Long-Term Work + Excellent Overtime
Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Technician, Fabricator, Vehicle Mechanic or Coachbuilder looking for a long-term contract with excellent overtime and strong earning potential?
We are currently recruiting skilled mechanical workers to join an established engineering company near Tewkesbury.
This is a workshop-based mechanical fitting and assembly role offering long-term stability, a clean and modern working environment and plenty of opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime.
The Role
As a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for:
* Mechanical fitting, assembly and fabrication of industrial products
* Building and assembling mechanical components and finished products
* Using a variety of hand tools and power tools
* Reading and working from technical drawings
* Following assembly instructions and engineering specifications
* Carrying out general mechanical workshop duties
* Checking completed work for quality and accuracy
* Working safely and maintaining high standards of workmanship

You should have:
* Previous practical experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, fabrication or a similar environment
* Experience using hand tools and power tools
* The ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Good attention to detail and quality
* A reliable, hardworking approach
* Good practical and mechanical aptitude
* The ability to work safely and efficiently in a workshop environment
Experience in coachbuilding, vehicle mechanics, machinery assembly, plant, manufacturing or similar engineering environments would be highly advantageous.
Pay & Benefits
