Position Overview: As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the team, contributing to the success of projects from conception to completion.

You will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, analyzing costs, and preparing detailed estimates for mechanical systems. Your expertise will guide the decision-making process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conducting comprehensive reviews of project specifications and drawings to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements.

* Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and insights.

* Utilizing industry-leading software to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals.

* Evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness and quality.

* Providing valuable input during project planning and value engineering sessions.

* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, materials, and labour costs.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction industry.

* Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools.

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
