This is ideal for a Mechanical Estimator that wants to be valued by a business as being more than just a number. Here you will be working for a specialist contractor that prides themselves on being a very close knit, family feel business that appreciate work life balance offering hybrid work. This specialist contractor is extremely reputable having over 40 years experience in the commercial sector, being the go-to provider for mechanical and electrical services across Wales and the south west. They are now looking to add some senior talent to expand the business and assist with their growing pipeline of work.
Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, this Swansea based business consists of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Projects, Facilities Maintenance & their Testing department. You will be based out of their office as well as visiting some of the local projects they are working across. Previous experience working across both design and build projects with values up to £2,000,000 that have encompassed Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC & Public Health is key.
Your role as a Mechanical Estimator will include:
* Reviewing and Submitting complete estimates/tenders
* Carry out estimates using estimation packages.
* Reviewing drawing spec's for materials,labour, profit etc
* Consistent liaison with wider business units for project progression.
The successful Mechanical Estimator will need:
* Extensive mechanical experience.
* Proven experience working on project values up to £2,000,000
* Highly computer literate
