We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our team in Halifax, on a full-time permanent basis.

Position: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer
Location: Halifax Area
Salary: Up to £40,795
Pension: 23.68%
Annual Leave: 47 days + 8 Bank Holidays + Christmas Shutdown (Approx. 65 days annually)

About the Role: As a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and training to apprentices and study program participants. You will be responsible for nurturing students' skills and knowledge in a variety of workshop practices, ranging from Level 2 to Level 3. Your expertise will cover essential workshop skills, including machining, milling, turning, lathe operations, handfitting, and introductory CNC operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire and motivate students.
Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on training in workshop environments.
Support the development of apprentices and students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Design and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and maintain educational standards.
Foster a positive learning environment that promotes inclusivity and diversity.Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Extensive industry experience in machining, milling, turning, lathe operations, and CNC.
Previous teaching or training experience is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
