Location: West London
Salary: £48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts: 8:00am–5:00pm & 10:00am–7:00pm)

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a professional on-site engineering team at a prestigious commercial property in West London.

This is a static-site position offering excellent stability, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to work within a modern, high-profile building. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all mechanical building services.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks

* Maintain and fault-find on mechanical plant and equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, and associated HVAC systems

* Conduct plant room inspections and ensure all equipment is operating efficiently

* Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner

* Support compliance activities and ensure all maintenance records are accurately completed

* Liaise with subcontractors and specialist service providers when required

* Work closely with the wider engineering team to deliver a first-class maintenance service

About You

* Qualified in a mechanical discipline (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)

* Experience working within commercial building maintenance environments

* Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems

* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Professional and client-focused approach

* Able to work effectively as part of a team
