We are recruiting for an experienced, fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an established on-site facilities management team at a modern, high-spec commercial office building in Central London.

In this permanent role, you will take lead ownership of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, statutory water compliance, and reactive repairs across the building's mechanical, HVAC, and primary plant systems. Monitor, adjust, and diagnose plant alerts via the Building Management System (BMS).

Carry out routine water hygiene and temperature monitoring in compliance with L8 statutory standards.

Respond promptly to reactive work orders, tenant comfort calls, and plant room alarms.

Supervise, induct, and manage specialist sub-contractors on-site (chiller specialists, boiler engineers, water treatment teams).

Maintain accurate statutory logbooks, asset registers, and maintenance work records.

Participate in an on-call rota (if required) with standby allowances and premium overtime rates.

Proven track record working as a mechanical building services maintenance engineer within commercial offices or corporate FM environments.

Solid working knowledge of BMS operation and routine L8 water hygiene guidelines.

Strong communication skills and a professional approach suitable for corporate tenant interactions.
