Mechanical Engineer (Electro Mechanical would be a bonus!)
£42K-45K + Bonus + Pension + Private Healthcare
Flexible working hours Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm!
Join a growing machinery manufacturer and play a key role in building high‑quality bespoke equipment. As a Mechanical Engineer you'll work on varied projects, be recognised for your craftsmanship, and have genuine progression opportunities.
The Mechanical Engineer Role:
*Mechanical assembly and build of bespoke machinery
*Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
*Working with pneumatics (cylinders, slides, regulators)
*Machine build, installation and mechanical testing
*Fault finding and problem solving
*Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
*Ensuring exceptional quality and accuracy
*Supervising a small team of 3
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
*Strong background in machine build / mechanical fitting
*Confident reading engineering drawings
*Good pneumatic systems knowledge
*Excellent troubleshooting skills
*High attention to detail
*Positive, team‑focused attitude
*CNC or machining experience beneficial
*Ideally 8+ years' engineering experience
*Proven supervisory capability
