Monday to Friday – 07:00 – 15:30 & 11:30 – 19:30
Alice Rose is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to work one of London prestigious schools. This is an opportunity to work with the client and to come away from the services providers.
The successful Mechanical Engineer will come from a mechanical background, ideally apprentice trained or fully qualified through City and Guilds or an NVQ, previous experience working within building services ideally in a commercial/education/hospitality background.
Mechanical Engineer Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that Reactive maintenance is carried out to all client assets through operation of the Maintenance System.
* Air Handling Units, building temperatures and remedial mechanical tasks.
* Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to always maintain plant in serviceable order.
* Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records are kept pertaining to Health & Safety, Building Compliance and Quality Assurance.
* Ensure that sub-contractors perform to meet the requirement of the contract.
* Administer sub-contractor work approvals and safe operation while repair or service is carried out on site.
* To maintain & develop good client relationships.
* Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate, including the utilisation of the shift engineers to ensure the task is suitably completed.
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
* City & Guilds - Level 2 & 3
* A proven track record in Building Maintenance ideally within a commercial/education/hospitality site.
* Good Communication Skills.
* Safe systems of Work Procedure - PTW, RAMS experience
